Hope, Help & Community
Our team of trained listeners and counsellors (qualified & trainee) are committed to putting faith into action by offering compassionate support to those experiencing bereavement, grief, loss, loneliness or other emotional challenges.
Trustees & Leadership
Denise McClung has served in leadership and worship roles in Ayrshire churches for 38 years and has extensive experience in HR and project management within the charity sector. She is passionate about supporting the local church and building the Kingdom of God in her community. Elaine Hough and Stacey Morrison both work in NHS Ayrshire & Arran, supporting mental health, bereavement, and spiritual care. Elaine oversees bereavement and counselling services and has a vision to create safe spaces for healing and hope, while Stacey leads mental health drop-in sessions to reduce isolation and promote independence. Both are deeply committed to seeing lives transformed through the love of God and actively serve in their local church communities.

How To Help
We would love you to partner with us by supporting the work of Hope Wellbeing through financial giving. Your generosity helps us continue creating safe, hope-filled spaces where young people and the wider community can grow emotionally, socially, and spiritually. You can support the work through a one-off donation or by committing to regular monthly giving—every contribution makes a meaningful difference.
How To Support
There are also hands-on ways to be involved through volunteering and prayer. You can serve within Hope Wellbeing or be part of the wider life of Hope Rising Church, using your time and gifts to support what’s happening on the ground. If volunteering isn’t possible right now, you can still play a vital role by committing to regularly pray for the work, the team, and those we support.
